FIXED: GAME BROKEN: GOING TO WHITE SCREEN

It downloaded but nothing is happening when I press play it goes to a white screen and hangs jesus god whyyyyyyyyyyyy

It boots to a white screen and just hangs! Nothing is happening :(

My system specs are:

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit updated to latest creators update
Intel core i7-4790 @ 4Ghz
32GB Ram
Two GTX 980ti in SLI (tried disabling sli, no change)

i have win10 and 90% i have a problem with white screen in games i restart the pc and game works(after first install i have white screen problems last game was ghost recon wildlands and gta 5 at release)

my download is not ready but maybe restart pc help

sli is maybe the problem, disable sli and restart pc?

Just tried that unfortunately no change, it hangs on a white screen :(

Surely to god they haven't made the same ♥♥♥♥ uo twice. bayonetta had the same issue.

Did the same to me as well. I just reset my PC and now it works fine.

Oh damn. How did this get fixed? Was there a workaround or was it a patch?

Just uninstalled the game and redownloading right now, will update in a bit if that fixes it. Will check file integrity as well prior to launch to be sure

Uninstalled, downloaded anew, reinstalled, checked integrity of files and they checked out, but still launches to hanging white screen this sucks. Basically broken for me

At first it didn´t start for me as well. Rebooting Steam fixed the problem for me.

Ok I'll try that now, but I restarted my whole computer several times I would imagine that would be the same. Did it go to a white screen for you and hang there and the only way was to ctrl alt del and end program or click on the x on the top right and select close program? Or would you just click play and nothing would happen? Thanks!

I restarted, no change. I then went into settings and opted out of Steam Beta, thought maybe that's it, it restarted steam and reinstalled a non beta version so I know it restarted for real haha but still no change I'm afraid. Game's still broken for me!
