You should play Nier Automanta, it's very long.
If it wasn't broken as hell on pc I would lol
I loved to play vanquish on the xbox. The only detail that bothered me was the lack of multiplayer. That would totally destroy gears of war that had a strong multiplayer community during those times.
still does.
personally i couldnt even finish it back when i had it for PS3, and wouldnt really recommend buying into the hype, its not that amazing.
i'd recommend alpha protocol or binary domain over this. better story, better gameplay, actual boss fights and not just gimmicks, and better enemy design. I remember specifically for most of vanquish you're in dark brown tunnels fighting the same generic halo 1 grunt enemies over and over.
like its a game in space, you're an awesome save the planet kind of guy, and they have you in a dark brown tunnel playing japanese gears
Also, this is graphically one of the best games from last gen and the amount of on screen explosions/enemies is incredible.
For the faster paced trigger happy player probably about 6 hours.
That said it is an excellent game and finally updated for the PC.
I smashed my way thru Vanquish at lest 8 times on the xbox till the red ring of death forced me to make a dcision of never another console in my lifetime.
The game is real fun..........is that not what a game is all about?
When my second crapbox died on me I must have logged at least 30 hours or more and was gutted that I now had a useless console and a great game
For me Vanquish was so much fun I reloaded and played thru a second time immediately after finishing it the 1st time around. The mechanics in game I liked, the satisfaction of taking down some of the bigger bots was rewarding. Also the game is made in such a manner that whilst linear there are still enough alternate ways to take down the enemy without the feeling of play rinse repeat.
Only other game I ever played as often was Bulletstorm.........but then Bulletstorrn has a wicked sense of humour that I really enjoyed.
Vanquish is a game for the adrenaline junkies.........crawl hide sneak snipe ??? NO WAY this is a hands on balls to the wall and jump straight into the action GUNS BLAZING.
Speed and accuracy in Vanquish make it one of the best shooters I have ever played....so much so that I am pretty sure once I finish whats in my library i will hit the download button on this PC release.
