Eel Treasure in Sea Garden
The one under the save, accessible by Merryn when out of her sub.

I can't seem to swim fast enough to get them to all hide their heads. I feel crazy, I must be boosting wrong somehow. I watched a youtube video of it and the guy boosts through more quickly than I do.

I've pressed 'A' on the controller and SPACE on the keyboard, and she barely goes faster (if at all), though the arms do an animation that would indicate a speed boost. Is this a glitch, or can someone tell me the weird way I am doing this wrong?

Thats the final treasure I need as well. Still haven't been able to get it...

It has something to do with the height of the eels. Swim left-to-right staying high enough so only the tall ones go down. Then go right-to-left while swimming lower. That worked for me but I don't know why.

I tried doing the height thing. Couldn't pull it off, but eventually got frustrated and swam back and forth at different rates and different heights.

Eventually, I got it. Not sure why.

Maybe you have to go quickly one way to make at least the eels facing that way hide, and then give them all a chace to get a up again, then swim the opposite direction to make at least the eels facing that other way hide?

Or maybe it's what Nameless Avatar said and I just happened to get the different heights right on one of my attempts. At least I know it's not a speed glitch with my swim button.

I managed to get this (after trying for almost an hour) by making a 'swoop' from right to left, starting high and descending to grond level. I made several of these swoops and suddenly was rewarded with the treasure (silver fish statue, I think). It's hard to get, but not impossible.

I think the key is that you can't keep hitting the boost button. Stand on one side of the eels, hit the boost once, and then swim across all of them in a single smooth motion. That's how I managed to get it anyway. I think hitting the boost button outside of your sub actually slows you down for a second before you speed up, so that's probably why it's a bit tricky.

This worked for me. I started a little bit above them, hit boost once, and did a swoop down across them. It popped up on the first try (after trying just swimming back and forth a bunch of fruitless times).
