Give me a ticket for an aeroplane
I just got this game. I didn't even finish the demo, but I noticed the sale was about to end and I was hooked enough on the story that I knew I wouldn't want to wait for the next sale to see what happens next.

There are some conspicuously unnecessary stretches of dialogue, but the characters are interesting and beautifully acted, and the presentation makes the premise more gripping than it would be in lesser hands. Looking forward to the rest.

I'm on Zach's chapter and still hooked. Even with no apparent direction to the plot at present, something about it makes me want to keep playing.

Anybody else feel faked out by the photo of Hannah? That creepy music started playing, and I thought, "Uh oh, there's going to be something scary showing in the photo when it develops." And then... "Oh. He smudged it with the development fluid." I couldn't even figure out why he started thinking it was anything else.

Thanks. :)

Haven't updated in a while, but when I got to the part where Zach hears cries from the mansion, I could only think, dang, so my two choices are (1)enter a house that I was just turned away from, and (2)search through spooky woods for a guy who I have no reason to believe is even in the area? Oh well, I guess it's hard to write a horror story without the characters occasionally making inexplicably dumb decisions.

I went with breaking and entering; at least with that option, Zach stood a chance of accomplishing some good to balance off the likelihood of getting arrested or killed. Thus did I learn that Isabella and Ashton, though I love them both, are the two most useless friends ever. Can't even bail a guy out who was jailed on minimal evidence. (I'm no legal expert, but I think you'd have a hard time making a breaking-and-entering case stick when there's no forced entry, no vandalism, nothing stolen... no nothing, really, save for the butler's word that he was on the premises before he was beaten senseless.) Can't even get in to see him without being thrown out of the police station. Then, mere hours after they find out Zach was brutally murdered, Ash asks if anyone else knows about his feelings for Isabella, and Becca says "I think Zach suspects." Wow. Just... wow. Now that is what I call insensitive. Honestly, Zach, I think you picked the wrong friends.

So, nothing happens when Hannah hits on Zach or Marianne, but when she tries to make time with her own husband you get the achievement "Slutty Hannah". [raised eyebrow] Sometimes I think the developers of this game didn't have the best grasp of the English language.
