Also what does "Schröken" ever mean ? I can't figure it out ...
Couldn't find anything else about it.
I thought it was Johannes's last name.
He seems to be from Germany and former doctor.
Pretty sure that's his name lol. It does suck that he just gets left behind. Unless his body disappeared or something...
Also, that's probably my own nitpicking, but I was a bit saddened when I tried to go for a good Ash/Rebecca friendship ending where Rebecca goes for dinner with Luke and Kylie and also get Ash/Isabella confession scene, in the end, I got 1 point above the Ash/Becca relationship bar and still got roped into the bad Ash/Becca friendship ending. Which, like I said, saddened me. I must admit, I love Rebecca's confession rejection variation where she admits that her feelings for Ash made her selfish and clingy and she lets him go of her own accord. And you can only get this variation if you agree to have dinner with Luke. Both scenes really endeared Rebecca to me, as well as Luke, hell, I found myself agreeing with him on some points. I enjoyed both these scenes immensely and I'm sad to have to sacrifice it to get good Ash/Becca friendship and Ash/Bella romance. I love Ash/Bella, it's a great ship. Maybe the devs could do something about it? But I'm not sure...
I became even more amazed by who voiced the characters and other roles in the game. Loved the voice actors of Ashton and Luke.
I hope to play more of the Letter to get my hands on experience with the game, but regardless of how little or how big I have played it, the game got me hooked in a snap.
Yangyang Mobile, you created an truly beautiful and detailed game. You are continuing your best to do some fixes on some issue to make the game an even greater experience for fans and new gamers. And I hope to see more horror visual novels in the future... maybe a murder/mystery... or a vampire themed one... whether it be horror/mystery/romance or all of them, lol
I hope to support you in any ways possible, cause I would love to see you guys make more. :D
From what I gather at the end of Luke's chapter, when everyone who's dead says something, the Butler always says "Stay, Stay away!" Which makes me think the Ghost kills him no matter what. Which makes sense as he's either dead in the cellar or locked in that Attic. Both of which are prime estate for the Ghost. Thats my take anyways, not like he could of escaped.
Though I was wondering if anyone familiar with Japanese could translate what the ghost's necklace symbols mean. I can't help but wonder if that the neckalce is some sort of charm/talisman which help lead Takako and Charolette into becoming the ghost. I mean, it does seem to be important considering the anime opening and how Hannah finding it leads to her being fully possessed. Perhaps whatever the necklace says is a clue to if it is what helped create the ghost. Or maybe it even has another meaning entirely.
Based off what we say from the memory fragments, we know that Takako becomes a ghost thanks to Lady Charolette's cruelty towards her and framing her for a crime she didn't commit. Naturally this leads to her becoming a ghost and seeking vengance against the person who murdered her and the person she admired.
Though in one of the menu scenes whenever a cutscenes/jump scare happens, we see Charolette hanging herself. This suggests that she did probably commit suicide to escape Takako's wrath. I think that by doing so, she became a ghost herself and decided to take revenge on Takako by somehow enslaving her to her will. Perhaps that letter she writes in her own blood ties her to the mansion/Takako's spirit. This might also explain how in endings where the Letter is burned, it does temporarily stop the ghost as it weakens Charolette's power or hurts her enough to stop the haunting. At least for a while like the stinger indicates.
So while the ghost looks like Takako, Charolette is the one controlling her spirit and forcing her to be her servant once again. After being driven mad by Takako's spirit haunting her before she died, she became even more cruel and wicked than she was before. She sees that anyone who enters what used to be her mansion as a filthy pheasant who needs to die and torments them much before killing them horribly. Then keeping the spirits trapped in her mansion for her own sadistic amusement.
Takako's true personality only comes through briefly once in awhile as a sobbing girl who is unable to escape Charolette's influence, or like the when she spoke to Luke in the garden.
The only thing that can appease both of them is Luke because he reminds them both of the one person who they loved in life, Eduard.
Charlotte was a possessive, spoiled, sadistic, selfish person. If she died, she wouldn't have had any grudges towards the populous since she got what ever she wanted. Takako, on the other hand, had a reason to be vengeful (as a ghost that is). So, mixing the two persons's traits, you get the ghost of the story. Anyone who was in contact with anything from the mansion (or Luke) was going to be targeted (due to Takako and Charlotte's love for Eduard, and Charlotte's possessive and sadism).
Side note: The necklace was Takako's. It has Japanese characters on it, and she's Japanese (the name 'Takako' makes it more than obvious). The way Hannah expressed that 'it was all hers' (while possessed), further proves my theory of the merge of Charlotte and Takako (since one is possessive and the other isn't).
Those are my thoughts and how I interpreted it.
This is a tad better than what I thought, or deduced, and is similar to my hypothesis. You deserve a high five. :)
First and foremost, the hard requirement that Isabella shows Rose the letter to unlock Hannah's second ending makes very little gameplay sense IMO. I would advocate removing that particular relationship change entirely and instead increasing the changes from the various direct choices made as Hannah. I think *ever* having a decision made by character X affect the relationship between character Y and character Z is a pretty bad idea gameplay-wise, but that particular one was very frustrating to try to find without a guide, especially since you can't even check that particular relationship bar immediately after making that choice. While the choice to show the letter does admittedly lead to Luke acting in a way that angers Hannah, the link between the actual choice and the relationship change is just far too indirect compared to virtually every other choice in the game.
ps: can i gay the characters up?? the gay ♥♥♥♥ is very important to me
