Regarding Hannah and Luke's relationship [Spoilers!]

I really really love Hannah and I've played all her chapter routes, and I've noticed that Isabella's choice of whether showing or not the letter to Rose changes a lot how Hannah and Luke's relationship is.
Does that choice actually change their past? Like, if you don't show the letter to Rose, they still have some squabbles, but they look really happy and they seem to love each other, but in the other route Luke and Hannah's relationship seems to carry a really unhappy past, so I've been thinking that maybe that decision changes their background a bit. Or maybe I'm just imagining things and overthinking it. What do you think?

The letter does change some interactions between them. I'm not sure it changes their past though.

It doesn't change their past. Just that their squabble they had over the letter or Luke being all chummy with Bella dampens their relationship and causes more negative interactions between them.
