A post about Luke Wright.
I really like this game - infact it's one of my favorite games of all time, I loved the characters, the art, the epilogues... but what absolutely made me fall in love with this game is Luke ♥♥♥♥ing Wright. Why? Because of the following reasons:

While not in every route he's an actual evil person, this aspect is what I like the most about him. I loved his hunger for power in the route where he murders Hannah in cold blood - but the piece of cake is when he leaves Isabella, Zachary and Rebecca to die at the ghost's hands. We clearly see a mention about how cunning, manipulative and ruthless he has been over the course of years (even before the actual events of The Letter ) and how he has been developing a self-absorbed personality, mainly because for his economic status. This can be changed in the some epilogues and conversations - but that's not the point here. In the said scenario where he leaves Zach, Becca and Belle to die is when we can clearly see Luke's true nature and how really cold he can be - showing signs of sociopathic tendencies. I love how he easily murdered Hannah but not before persuading her, using his charming skills. Even Becca said so at one point - "With him is either be charmed or hate him" - and I really liked the minor guilt trips he suffered just after murdering his own wife, but then telling himself that he did good, just like every sociopath out there (although sociopaths do have a conscience, it's minor). The truth is that people like him exist - and that really terrifies me. I really would like to see more about this well-crafted character in the future, this guy reminds me of other sociopaths in other fields - be it Frank Underwood from House of Cards or even Eric Cartman from South Park though I see some resemblances with the latter, because of how self-absorbed he is and how he adress other people as "peasants". Anyway, that's all folks. Pardon if I have some grammar errors - English is not my native language. Also, happy new year!

Note: I am referencing the scene that unlocks the "Bye ♥♥♥♥♥es" achievement, just before the True Ending if you choose "No, this how isn't supposed to end."
