How to get the TRUE ENDING?
Anyone has tips or a walkthrough on how to get it? I played through once and got an ending where Hannah is possessed, everyone else is alive and we burn the house down. I am not quite sure I've got all the background story with the witch, prince thing. I'd be grateful if anyone could help me.:steamhappy:

Don't think anyone got it yet. Only hint for the true end is that not everyone can be alive at the end to triger it but if few people can reach it the devs will give out hints. Im currently going through each chapter till I 100% it before moving on. Currently 100% ch. 1-3 now working on 4.

Kinda hope the only one that needs to die is Luke but I doubt it will be that simple or nice...

I still have little clue on getting the true end but I do have a theory that we need to have everyone die at some point, maybe not in one playthrough but just to unlock the memory fragments since those are probably the key on unlocking the true end. but that's about it.

I can't unlock those two memory fragments no matter what I try, wish someone would just let me know exactly who has to die/live or at least a clue as to how many I have to kill off. Too many choices :P

We'll be posting a guide soon. :) We're just fixing a few things on our end!

Wait wait, is the story branching has any bugs need fixing?
A game like this have what need to fix ?
AncientSpark Jul 27, 2017 @ 7:16am
Samseng Yik: The main bug is that chapters 6 and 7 are so long that the branch diagram clips off.

Anyway, the last two memory fragments will not unlock until the true ending.

Will it be a detailed guide or just tips on how to get the ending?
If detailed, can you consider posting some clues for those who still want to try and figure it themselves?

Btw, is it possible to find the true ending without accidentally stumbling into it or getting spoilers? Like, are there some actual clues in the game itself?

I'm not 100% sure if there is any hints in the game; I'd have to go back and check again. If there are, they're pretty subtle.

The tips that they gave me in the Discord when I asked around is The True Ending is nicknamed as the cockblock ending by the Devs because the people required to survive have no romantic pairings with each other. In other words, the True Ending will NEVER have any romantic endings in it..

I have a theory, purely speculation and all that, but I think that the intro might have some hints on which path you have to take to get the true ending. You can watch it here on the steam page.

No, already tried this, doesn't seem that way. That is, unless I missed something.

A lot of people mentioned the horror movie survivor tropes and that characters in the game that have those skills are the survivors--but I don't really understand? Do they mean the really old ones that are like if you sleep with someone you die, or something? I don't get it : (

I really wish someone would just spoil us about how to reach the true endnig, without telling us anything. Just tell us who needs to live and who needs to die damnit xD

@Gaymer Lady I think they mean how in a lot of horror the story gets "told" afterward by a survivor - I'm assuming it's a hint that Zach is one of the true ending survivors.
Reyes Feyster Jul 28, 2017 @ 12:12pm
From what I have seen, Zach doesn't really learn anything that the other characters don't learn...so what can he learn?
non.horation Jul 28, 2017 @ 12:13pm
It sounds like what he learns from the professor about the history of the ghost story is important.
