virus?

Webroot went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over me instaling the game from steam! Is this a virus? If not please tell me what file I have to mark as good. Webroot has helped me so much so I don't know about this game. I have heard so games on steam were viruses so, I don't know what to do.

Does Webroot tell you exactly which file it is flagging as suspicious?

There are no software viruses in the files packaged with the game on Steam. Providing it was downloaded via Steam then we can guarantee that. If you installed it from someone where else (Local back up, network back up, etc) then we can't say the same.

ok I found how to fix it. But all it says for me is c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\downloading\460190\rocketriotsteam.exe

That is very strange.
As said, if you downloaded the game via Steam then we can guarantee that there are no viruses packaged within the files.

It is also possible that webroot has a false positive. They have had some issues in the past so it's not beyond the realm of possibility. See here:

Out of interest I ran the same file through an online scanner, Virus total, which uses a number of engines and both Webroot and Jiangmin flagged it as adware but 61 other engines including Avast, AVG, TrendMicro, ESET did not have any issues.

I have the same issue since months ago, the game update is just sitting there,it does download everything but once I try to install webroot does not let me and this has never happend with any other game.

The game from Steam has no viruses in it. Webroot is reporting a false positive.
