New girls, about the voice acting...
Idk, feels so poor. Wasabi voice is like sooo sloow and ginger is too repetitive and annoying with the japanese words. Im still preffering abby and lustat for voice acting, lustat the perfect example of be in deep with the character.
(if u think how i completed the event faster is because i spended 50 diamonds, i still have 160) im like a veteran in the game but i dont have all the girls D:

There are very few characters I haven't enjoyed in this game, and sadly, Ginger & Wasabi is one (?) of them.

The voice acting is really unsettling, I agree.

The double text windows look terrible, I can't stand them.

Defying the 1 girl per slot tradition also bothers me quite a lot, I would have much rathered they were separated into two slots. It's like having a mint condition card collection of 49 and then the 50th card you get is one of a kind but has a tear in it. Sours the integrity of the rest of the collection.

The tear in the 50th card made me take mental damage.
Only on this forum now have I ever seen someone complain about getting basically a "two for one" deal on something.

And anyway, twin-girl characters are fairly popular these days, and while I haven't actually unlocked them yet, they just look like a parody of the "Nekopara" girls, who always come in a pair (pick your definition of the word "come" there).

They even copy the maid-motif for their visual design, and the names are appropriately food-themed, "Chocola and Vanilla" VS "Ginger and Wasabi".

Right? Totally feel that...

The characters in the Nekopara series are fleshed out and actually adorable though, G&W seem like very cheap spinoffs of what could've been. Can give me a 10 for 1 deal at a restaurant, but if all 10 taste like crap, that doesn't make it a good deal imo.

Quill, despite not being a real catgirl, plays a much more lovable role of what a catgirl should be. Quill is one of my favourites and I really enjoy catgirls in countless other media so this is definitely more of a quality issue I think. I don't believe my neko-standards are even all that high.

At least they're not full-on grizzly bears I guess.

The Parallel Event is almost always bare-bones with the VA, everyone involved usually only says like 3 or 4 words. It's a pretty safe bet that when they're unlocked and in the main game they'll both be a lot more talkative.
Am aware of that, but their main game voice acting isn't really any better, just more of it.

man, i finished the event yesterday.. im talking about the final product :B the voicelines are so forced... if u have lustat, abby or just the 1st girl cassie u can feel how the voice actor is deep in her role that was i talking about
My first impression for this duo is not that bad. I know some are worse. I have mixed feelings for them at the Adversary stage.

Some of them are emotional light, while some are bland. I think the batch is not that bad. It's somewhere around good (7/10) if this was some kind of starter career. I agree that some are forced, especially Wasabi.

Well, I think you're nuts.

Ginger and Wasabi both sound fantastic, and the voice actress even had me fooled into thinking it was two different people doing the voices (It's not).
Honestly Ginger and Wasabi both really sound good from the talented voice actor

Missed opportunity to give Wasabi a first voice line interaction out of both of them in the main line.

Ginger's a little hyper for my tastes, but I don't think that's a VA problem, it's just a character problem. I kinda like Wasabi.

Fully agree, the voice acting has clearly declined. No hate to the voice actors, some of them are just poorly recorded

Well, I think their voices are good. The reason for disliking them seems to be about the characters, rather than with voice acting.
Ginger is optimistic, cheerful and kind and Wasabi is pessimistic, dejected and a tsundere. The voices fit them, in my opinion,
Yeah I don't get what everyone is talking about with the voices. I like them and think they fit the characters perfectly.

Every time that I look at the two of them sharing the same slot I can't help seeing this in my mind.
