No connection to Steam API - only me? [Solved]

Currently when I start Crush Crush, it doesn't connect to the Steam API and thus I can't claim my daily login for the Lake unlock. Is this only for me, or are others also affected?

Hopefully this gets sorted out over the day.
Update: Everything is working again. get your LTE Claim, folks :)

I was having a problem with steam saying it wasn't connected to the internet (though I was). I didn't want to fix it as I had(have) covid and couldn't be bothered. It never was fixed so now that I am feeling better I tried to find a solution. All of the articles on line were useless, but this, this worked. It also fixed my discord.
