Transfer
How can I fully backup and transfer my save's progress to another device?

From what I understand there isn't a typical save file structure for this game, so what I'm looking for is how to accomplish these in steps. Thanks!

On your current device, go to the More tab. Click Save Game and pick a slot.

On the other device, go to the More tab again, click Load Game and pick the same slot.

You'll need to repeat these steps every time you switch devices.

The first time you start the game on a new device, you may find it automatically loads a save for you. This will *only* happen if there is no exisiting save data on that device, so you'll need to repeat those steps every other time you move.

I appreciate the info.

Though I was hoping I could actually back the data up and potentially restore it to earlier states in time if needed, as two save slots is very limited.

In principle, you could manually backup the area of the registry where the save gets stored. But that's still not a *full* save, since some things - such as LTE and PES rewards - are tracked on the server using your SPS ID, and as such they would be re-unlocked at that time.

And I'm not really sure what you're hoping you'd get out of more save slots. There aren't a ton of choices in this game.

To go back and try different strategies mostly or re-experience parts while they are reasonably slow. I'm a bit of a numberphile, but also a backup addict.

This ID, is it tied to your Steam account? Because I swear I logged into a different Steam account hoping to get more save slots but it carried over. Didn't check the ID though.

If it is, then backing up would work fine as it would keep my server-sided stuff at all times.

Yes, the SPS ID is tied to your Steam account.

Okay, cool. So then all that server-sided stuff will just automatically transfer no matter what, when or how I transfer what save data *is* stored locally then.

I'm concerned about messing with registry though, I don't want to break anything. Would you mind explaining the specific steps for backing up and importing the data for local Crush Crush save data? I would be most grateful.

From the pinned thread:

Playing between different computers/syncing issues

If you are switching between different PC's, our save system does not work the same as most games with Cloud Saves. What you will need to do is manually save your game into one of the Save Slots then manually load that save when you open up the game on the other computer. (And vice versa when switching back!)

If you don't do this, your game will not sync.
If you find that doesn't help, then please e-mail our support team at support@sadpandastudios.com and make sure to include your SPS ID (found by clicking on the "More" tab in game!)

Click on "More" in the game (bottom right hand tab) and it brings up various options, in these are "Save Game" and "Load Game" and in them are two available slots - this is where you need to save / load the game from each computer / other device you are using.

I'd suggest emailing the support team if this doesn't answer what you're asking, kinda going round in circles here.
