How long did you last before buying boosts?
I'm currently at max Reset Boost (2048), and am waiting 5 days for all my skills to go from 49 to 50. I'm guessing the wait will be over a month before I can unlock Karma/Sutra and actually progress the story. Likewise, all the DLC characters I've gotten either require a 50+ stat, require grinding hearts through clicking, or require a high level job ranking just to get started.

I'm guessing a lot of you have been at this point. When did you just give in and spend those diamonds?

As soon as I had the diamonds for it.

The speed boost you can buy in the store is not optional: it stacks with your reset boost by multiplying, so you pretty much have to put diamonds towards it - or wait for 20+ years, and that's just not worth it.

The most cost-effective way is to buy the x64 boost twice and the x2 boost once, for a total of 400 diamonds. You *can* do it differently, but you'll spend more diamonds overall, and those diamonds can be really useful for things like upgrading Phone Fling girls (since they don't get reruns).

All your diamonds from the start should go into Speed Boosts (in the store bottom tab named Boosts, ignore at all costs time skips because they're useless in the main game), it works in addition to the reset bonus and is capped at 8192. The most mathematically efficient way is to get two X64 boosts and then a x2, but you can get a x8 to get the ball rolling at first.

In getting the diamonds for a pure free to play person it's a long slog, the only way to do it is by getting the daily free diamond and the bonus from levelling up the girls, the more LTE and paid for the better. However the real cheating way to get diamonds is by buying Darya, she is the most expensive buy but it's more than made up for in the free diamonds she gives you when levelling up (it's way in excess than buying diamonds directly).

I mean, you get free diamonds for logging in every day, why would you not use them on things that would help you with the game? You're not spending any real world money on them. (Though I think throwing some money to these devs is more than fair because they really do deserve it.)

If you don't buy the boosts, you reach a point where some of the tasks will begin quoting literal years at you for how long they are going to take. I've messed around with it and seen that that will happen.

Wait for the maximum boost and buy that first, then just punch down from there.

The most optimize things to buy for store boost is two 64x and one 2x if I not wrong.

So yea, I saved up my diamond for that.

I ended up getting an x64 boost. That used up most of my earned diamonds. I only used some to finish an event before this. I was hoping to get an LTE girl with them.

I know it's a free to play game, but expecting players to wait a few months on a single run, just to finish the story content is pretty crazy. The reset boost should be much higher than 2048.

At least Crush Crush's boosts can go into the thousands.
Cries in Blush Blush's tiny 64x boost

Haven't played Blush yet, but doesn't that one have a much higher reset cap?

A high rest cap, yes. However, after boost bonus the sum is much less.
Crush Crush 2,048 reset x 8,192 boost = 16,777,216
Blush Blush 14,000 reset x 64 boost = 896,000
