Crush Crush Mobile Data Sync
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask about this, but I'm curious to know if anyone has any insight as whether Crush Crush Mobile has a data sync feature planned, or if I just have to redownload the app if I'm trying to play it on multiple devices

This was SadPanda's response to a similar question regarding sister game Blush Blush:

Can I move data from platform to platform?

Here's a bit of a detailed explanation as to why:

It's a money thing. Not necessarily on the Dev's end, but on each Platform's end. Here's an example:

- If you buy Darya here on Steam, that's ~$15 (if there's no sale). Steam gets a certain % of that purchase.

- This is also true for Kongregate/Nintendo Switch/Google Playstore/Apple app store (basically ALL platforms you can find this game on).

-Each platform WANTS that percentage from the DLC sales, and if data can be transferred freely between all platforms, then only 1 platform sees the money from the purchase, and the others basically LOSE out on "potential purchases".

So it boils down to the /Platforms/ being greedy for the % earned from sales, and thus not wanting to share data.
(Steam): I want your money!
(Nintendo Switch): No *I* want your money!!
(Google/Apple) No, we ALL want your money!!!!

I will add though, if it is between computers/laptops that have access to steam, then yes, you can transfer data, as long as you manually save in game and manually load on the other computer each time!

But if you can't get Steam on the device (i.e a tablet/your phone/Nintendo Switch), and have to download the app (which doesn't have uncensored mode), then transferring/syncing data unfortunately isn't going to happen.

i didn't mean sync from desktop to mobile, i meant sync between their mobile game on different devices. crush crush on android and ios don't seem to have the same save data system that steam does, so you can't just manually save/load your game. it does seem to sync the data to some degree, so you can continue where you left off if you download it on another device, but the progress doesn't seem to actively sync between devices

Yes, I *believe* it will only automatically sync to a device that does not already have a save. This is also what happens

If this is just a temporary thing where you have to use a different device for a little while and you need to know if you can move back later, then I would recommend contacting support via e-mail to hear what they recommend you do. I believe they should be able to merge things over when you have to move back.

Since the game supports being offline, it's not so simple to have a constant back-and-forth, so they probably can't support you with that. But asking them directly is the easiest way to be sure.

>If this is just a temporary thing
i'm trying to play crush crush on my computer through an emulator, so i don't always have to have my phone on hand [which is admittedly a pretty niche use case]

>asking them directly
i'd assume if it's something they had proper support for it'd be easily accessible and obvious, so the only knowledge i'd gain from asking is if they have something planned for the future. which is also good knowledge, so i might ask anyways
