Can I move data from platform to platform?
Here's a bit of a detailed explanation as to why:
It's a money thing. Not necessarily on the Dev's end, but on each Platform's end. Here's an example:
- If you buy Darya here on Steam, that's ~$15 (if there's no sale). Steam gets a certain % of that purchase.
- This is also true for Kongregate/Nintendo Switch/Google Playstore/Apple app store (basically ALL platforms you can find this game on).
-Each platform WANTS that percentage from the DLC sales, and if data can be transferred freely between all platforms, then only 1 platform sees the money from the purchase, and the others basically LOSE out on "potential purchases".
So it boils down to the /Platforms/ being greedy for the % earned from sales, and thus not wanting to share data.
(Steam): I want your money!
(Nintendo Switch): No *I* want your money!!
(Google/Apple) No, we ALL want your money!!!!
But if you can't get Steam on the device (i.e a tablet/your phone/Nintendo Switch), and have to download the app (which doesn't have uncensored mode), then transferring/syncing data unfortunately isn't going to happen.
If this is just a temporary thing where you have to use a different device for a little while and you need to know if you can move back later, then I would recommend contacting support via e-mail to hear what they recommend you do. I believe they should be able to merge things over when you have to move back.
Since the game supports being offline, it's not so simple to have a constant back-and-forth, so they probably can't support you with that. But asking them directly is the easiest way to be sure.
i'm trying to play crush crush on my computer through an emulator, so i don't always have to have my phone on hand [which is admittedly a pretty niche use case]
>asking them directly
i'd assume if it's something they had proper support for it'd be easily accessible and obvious, so the only knowledge i'd gain from asking is if they have something planned for the future. which is also good knowledge, so i might ask anyways
