Not enough event time?

I've been coming back to this event as often as i possibly can (while still working a lot) and ive been having the hobbies I need running since I knew i needed them and?? I'm worried that they made the hobbies too long for the event to even finish.

I've been having Cool go almost as long as its been unlocked but its at level 62 with 13hrs left on it?? How can you possibly get to 69 in the time frame given?? I have the boost on it and everything, im so upset bc this is my first even back into the game and i don't think i'll even be able to complete it unless I spend money that I don't have right now. :(

Is anybody else having this issue? I even used a lot of diamonds a bit ago and i'm still falling short even though im coming back to the event as often as possible.


___ EDIT: everyone keeps saying i should have gotten boosts, but with unlocking everything i'd only get to a x8 boost??? im at 17/24 and i only got a x4 boost (not counting the x16 hobby boost things) im so confused???

What is your current boost? I recently unlocked cool 61 and only have 3 hours and 19 minutes and my boost is x64 bought, x256 total. If you have 13 hours left it makes me suspect your boost is much lower.

In general, I think they give us enough time, but they don't give us much margin of error.

It's possible to do the event start to finish without spending diamonds in under three days. It sounds like you didn't get speed boosts, which are the most important thing.

I think you should try to get the free boost from the reward first. Plan which hobbies or job level you need to get them. If you are really unsure, I would advise looking at the guide for the event to see what you need. I ended up with 512X total boost with 2 days left and I am at the last girl and her last job requirement.

Still need to wait for the job to achieve its level to end the event. I only spent event currency obtained from the event, haven't use any diamond to exchange for currency.

I have the normal 16x boost on and the unlocked 4x boost but thats it :/
I don't have any other boost bc they all cost a lot of beach balls and I don't have enough to get any more, and ive only been able to unlock the x4. Granted I should've probably spent my beach balls more wisely LMAO but if i didn't spend ANY i think i'd still just barely hit 64x from where im at (im at progress 17/24)

i have all of the boosts unlocked but the last one and every hobby is at what it needs for me to unlock things except for cool and im still at a 4x boost :(

I don't have any other boost bc they all cost a lot of beach balls and I don't have enough to get any more, and ive only been able to unlock the x4. its generally best to not gild anything unless its close until you max your speed boost

ahh that makes sense, that may have been where I messed up bc i gilded a lot, I might just have to wait for the next event and try again

I think that's your problem. I beelined to the x8 multiplier and then a second x8 multiplier. Those multiplier really add up fast.

To be perfectly honest, if you only have a x16 boost you are in trouble. I am not going to say it is impossible for you to finish, but you will probably need to spend money/diamonds to do so.

Yeah, the general strategy for such event currently is trying to get the first 50 event currency and spend it on x8 boost multiplier. Then, go for the next boost. I learnt it the hard way for the first and second event. If player didn't go for that, there is a possibility of needing to spend diamond to finish the event or money to obtain the extra boost.

I've seen some players complaining after failing the event. Their strategy was buying time skip which was wrong in the first place.

Rule of Thumb
Get the x8 boost from the shop
Twice and Gild as little as possible unless you are desperate
Also the boosts stack so
8x8=64 so you end up with x64 total boost on everything

yeahhh this was my first event and i din't look at the guide posted that thoroughly, going in almost completely blind was NOT the go, thanks for letting me know!! that sucks tho cuz i spent a lot of diamonds on beach balls already but oh well :/
