Yep. You can't finish the entire game on your first playthrough unless you either spend money, or wait several weeks. (Each level takes even more time.) You can, however, "prestige" from the stats screen - even if you haven't finished all the girls - to increase your bonus multiplier, until it only takes a couple days to complete the entire roster.
Well, since the game autosaves when you exit and reloads when you open it, that achievement amounts to "own the game for a year."
Yeah, and the hinted at new girls will probably be even more ridiculous when they're released.
I guess they've got to pressure you into actually spending money somehow, instead of just relying on the utterly impatient. But I'm the sort of person who wouldn't spend money on this sort of thing even if the art was better and the girls were nakeder, so it won't be my cash they get.
I don't understand this. Could you explain why you want to play a game that you do not value enough to pay for?
It's an honest question. "I don't know" would be a valid answer, if not a satisfying one. ;)
From what I know, they do plan on removing the prestige cap one day! They just don't want things to be broken when someone gets ridiculously high.
Because it's free and I can play it without paying for it, and get pretty much all the features by just having some patience? True, in this case it's a truly epic amount of patience, but I'd rather just forget about its existence until I remember one day and uninstall it than be nickel and dimed to death by overpriced microtransactions.
I mean it's not like I never use in-game stores. I've given STO plenty of my money. I'm just not going to spend it on this sort of game.
Why pay when you could just not play for five months and get the same progress?
Progress capped at 7 days, also why are people necro'ing a thread from 2 years ago?
I dunno you tell me
I agree that it's a bit ridiculous that each level of a hobby takes twice as much time as the previous level, it really starts to show in the later levels, even with multipliers
