Speed boost and gem spending Q

Ok, so i was reading about the speed boosts and people are saying buy 64x, 64x, and 2x for max bonus..

I picked up the 64x and that really speed things up. (my normal bonus is only like 45 so far as i just started playing and these events need me to keep going) But i spent 2 bucks the other day to grab 20 gems to unlock the 64 which helped a ton.

But now i have 29 gems, so my next level will give me enough to pick up the 2x.. I am just hitting the level 46 hobbies and pamu's date unlocked.. Alpha is about half way, the ones above her are either completed or close.

My Q is, Should i pick up the 2x to help things go faster, or just keep saving? I read that they multiply, is that right? so my 64 would be 128 which should be pretty nice right? No clue how long it would take to get 90 more gems, though i would probably spend a few more bucks near the end anyway.

It kinda seams like maybe spending the 30 now would be a good option, but i don't wanna screw things up.. I dunno how many gems i can earn in a fairly short time to know if saving to 64 is the better option.

eva and beyond not unlocked yet. (when does eva, karma and sutra unlock anyway? i could not find that info)

It seams like the requirments are starting to get long, so i dunno how big of a wall is coming. I don't wanna reset right now as this event is taking a while at my speed, and i don't think i can get back to this level. I also read that if you reset you loose the progress anyway so that doesn't sound like a good idea anyway.

But reading about some unlocks coming, hobbies are in the 50's and things are starting to take a good while past 46.


So what is the deal? Better to grab 2x? or just wait and see how far i can get in the next 10 days?

It depends. Now that there's a way to actually get gems for free, its just a matter of time before you get enough gems. You're getting both regardless, it depends on where in the game you wanna put your waiting into. You will probably be waiting anyways to finish the 3rd and 4th last girl(last two are a little quicker, but still require consirable in-game money to finish)

For speed of game both parts matter since they are multiplied.

Also, you need to do some calculations. I'm not sure that 20 diamonds that you buy is enough to get you second x64 multi.

Each girl give you 11 diamonds at lover.
Your unfinished girls will give you ~30 diamonds, Eva, Karma and Sutra + 33 more.
That's only ~90 diamonds - and you need 120 for x64 boost.

I think you misunderstand the OP. They said they got 20 Gems which was enough to get their first x64, and now they've got a little more gems. They're aware that they'll need a x2 multiplier, and then a x64 multiplier to be completely maxed out. They're asking if they should save up until they get the x64 multiplier or if they should go for the x2 first.

And I already answered - better to wait.
You can proceed with game without x2 multi, just 2 times slower.
But without x64 it's slow as hell.
