I mean there could be a character that is only interested in other girls in the game.
Exact opposite of Ayano would be nice.
And to be honest. I didn't think I could switch genders myself in this game. Though Blush blush has the same option.
I just think It would fit well in the games style to make light of the age old male fantasy of having 3some with 2 lesbians. As in the final stage the girl would really seem to warm up only to have you sitting there watching 2 girls make out by themselves. Or something along those lines.
I am not a developer so what do I know anyway.
But adding certain kinks sounds like a bad idea, seen enough games and discussion threads that quickly turn toxic over going down certain sexual paths. You only need to go searching for a thread on this forum regarding a certain recent phone fling to see that some people WILL throw down over cuckolding.
CC is surprisingly one of the less toxic groups in general and I think them doing what they are doing is far better to keep it that way.
Can't fix what is not broken.
But I have always questioned the point in the complaining about additions unless nothing is taken and the option to rule it out is given for the sake of vanity.
It could be a LTE.
I don't want to go down the path of turning anything to argument of kinks or preferences.
Keep in mind that we are discussing about imaginary cartoon girls here.
No need to go full neckbeard mode. Your make-believe-waifu is in good hands with Sad Panda Studios, rest assured.
Agree, the issue is really too complex to break down in a steam thread but I would say it comes down to the concept of haves vs have nots.
I would have no issue with something like that as a paid (diamond or real world currency) girl, would likely get it for the lesbian thing myself because hey girl on girl. But the complaint comes down to someone having content that's 'exclusive' to certain interests, so they want content suited for themselves too.
But then this content is also accessible to those that had the exclusive stuff so their content isn't exclusive and further causes issues.
There was a character in the game HP2 that is very divisive in the fanbase, needless to say a mixture of twitter, a dev that tried too hard to appease everyone and a subject that is very much mired in controversy has lead to threads filled with idiots on all sides of the argument being toxic, I spent far too much time reporting people for death threats than I really needed too trying to keep it civil.
But ultimately I really think you are judging a book by it's cover here:
I am not trying to get you to play BB, merely set the misconceptions right for you.
Just think if you were a straight girl playing CC. It's not shocking at all. If you count out that one scene at the beginning of the game. And it's only just a frame of art work.
All around well made game but, bit more spiced up with yaoi. Really mild. Like watching a episode of Friends. Not to spoil too much, in case you decide to get curious one day.
As you have said it the best here yourself:
For myself, I would just really like to see what I saw in my time in BB and bring it to CC style.
But seeing as someone clearheaded as you are opposing this right before even getting the right picture, I really start to believe this thread is a stillborn.
For the type of game, to have a lesbian character, you have to go down one of two roads.
A) To have two different scenarios based on which gender the player is. Or B) have the player rejected wither way.
Now in the first option, while it wouldnt be as much work as it sounds, it would still be the same as if SPS were working on two characters. (Maybe a third depending on how they want to handle it.)
For the second option, while it would admittedly fit the games style better. There would be no way to go about it without upsetting people.
However, there is a third option that would still give people that "age old male fantasy of having threesome with two girls." And its one that has been done in the game. Have the characters crossover. Now sure, you cant really have any of the dateable crossover with one another without setting up a whole new system, or doing it through the phone flings.
And looking at it from a lore perspective, all these girls are meant to live in the same town. Meaning that atleast some of them should know one another. Something backed up by some of the girls appearing in SPS's visual novel Hush Hush. (Overlooking the fact that we dont know when Hush Hush is set.)
Before I sign off from here; I just really want to make couple of things absolutely clear here from my perspective.
In the start of the thread I was kidding about friendzone. It's just a stupid meme.
What I would really like to see is some more girlburgers, if you know what I mean ;)
Ayano is the best girl in the game so far. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
You may have your preferences or kinks but this is an undisputed fact. No discussion.
Lastly; to the main point, where the discussion really derailed from a simple query to ... I don't even know what to call this now ... Is a new lesbian girl that was pitched.
So as I stated earlier, Ayano is the best. But what I have in mind, in case I had to picture a new girl being introduced, would be interactive like Ayano, but instead of murderous mixed with jealously intents, she would go after other girls in game with the other kind of intent. While Ayano is obsessed with the protagonist. With this new lesbian girl the protagonist would appear to her as an antagonist.
But realizing the odds, this would never be possible. Too risky. Too many neckbeards would probably lose their ♥♥♥♥ if they got rejected by a cartoon girl and couldn't handle it.
While nobody even blinks an eye if Ayano murders a girl in their imaginary harem. Has anyone even paid any attention to what Pamu is like. One of the girl is voiced by a guy and probably all girls are drawn and scripted by a guy. Yes yes... getting "cucked" by a lesbian girl would be the final nail to the coffin of such a perfect fantasy game.
Just chill a bit will you?
Not everything has to always revolve around the protagonist.
Unconventional humor is a big part of the trademark charm of CC.
Continue from here if you want, but if you expect it to have any success. Do not! This is a trainwreck of a scale I have never witnessed before and I have been around for a good while.
It's just too funny to not to point out that the game includes:
Murder
Demons
Monsters
A freaking cross-dressing BEAR
Lesbians. Wait. My bad. We can't have that. No lesbians.
Somehow Blush blush has gays from the intro onwards.
But it's fine. I am done with this thread. We don't deserve lesbians in Crush Crush.
Maybe Blush blush could recycle the idea of interactive character like Ayano who is gay.
Since it doesn't have one yet. But that would be a whole another thread.
Not that I care much about Blush Blush, but it's still better than nothing at this point.
This why nice things and so on...
And Wendy, Qpernikiss, Lustat, Nutaku, Pamu, Bonnibel (in a pinup)...
I think Ruri is bi as well, she actually admits to being attracted to Mio to some degree, and asks for Marshmallow's help in arranging a threesome or something.
