Could I get banned by moving my pc date?

So up to this point I sorted my way in the game doing "time-jumps", meaning to move forward the date of my computer a couple of years for some progress and then go back so my pc wouldn't go crazy.
Now that I read some articles related to crush crush, i noted that they call this method "a glitch".
My question is, does that mean is illegal to do these time jumps and can I get banned for doing it?

Is it even possible for them to detect it in the first place? I mean I know that there are methods they can use to prevent this kind of stuff from being doable at all, just change the way the game determines the in-game time, but that's not quite the same as knowing if you're actually trying to do it.

You cant get banned for it and dont go a couple of years forward, you only collect Money for 7 Days.

Technically speaking, yes SPS could ban you for it, as Devs of similar games have done. Fortunately, it seems that SPS is pretty relaxed when it comes to anything that could be called "Cheating".

Well I've been changing the date with the game open, so I think I actually get the whole profit from the jump, but I'm not sure, since I only do that to max the hobbies and the promotions of the jobs

You won't be banned. But it does cause issues with your PC if you jump to far ahead.. You are only truly cheating yourself in the end. This is not saying that other devs will not ban for this type of behavior. But the Pandas don't. Its your game after all and it depends on how much enjoyment you wish to get out of it.
