A little confused by the first part of Darya's objectives, so I'd like a little clarifying.

When I found her I already had a number of jobs maxed out, so I was essentially waiting to max out a new one, I guess.

So then came around time to reset and now I maxed out the burger joint job again. She still isn't unlocked, but I know that job is one level lower than everyone else. So do I just wait until another job is maxed out?

Gilding is when you spend 10 diamonds on a particular job or hobby by clicking the diamond symbol in the upper right corner of the task.


Darya wants you to spend 10 diamonds gilding a job. this will 5x the output of a job.

if she wants you to gild a hobby, it's an extra x16 boost to that hobby speed.


eventually, you'll have all jobs and hobbies gilded.


Don't worry about spending the diamonds though, darya offers an exponential diamon gain at each level reward.
