Do Hunters actually have a counter??

Playing the campaign on Heroic and Hunters are the most annoying enemy to deal with as they seem to kill my units while being impervious to any damage type.

Anti-infantry dont work against them (flamethrowers are pathetic), anti tank doesnt work because they kill my tanks faster than they can kill them and explosives dont seem to work.

They seem to have the tankiness of vehicles while lacking the weaknesses of one.

This isnt the case in the games where a couple shots from a strong vehicle seems to take them out fast enough.

All I can use against them are hornets because they cant shoot back, even still they take a while to die and hornets are pretty inconvenient to use against a tier 1 unit.

Upgraded flamethrowers i find work well against them, the scorpions with the upgrade wipes them pretty fast if you can get a few of them. Failing that then hornets like you said, as they can't attack back

I havent found upgraded flamers or scorpion canisters to be good enough tbh

Which levels are the hunters being the problem? And it better not be the grizzly mission

Past it now but had some big problems with them on the big dome mission

The dome mission is insanely tough tbh. Not as hard as the mission where you evac civilians, but still.
