Spartans?

I just started playing, so I want to ask a question. Can you unlock spartans as units. Not just like you average spartan though. Like do you unlock spartans at the level of the noble squad from reach or master chief?

All Spartans are made alike, just depends on WHICH generation you're talking about. But if you're talking about customization from reach no that's not here and master chief was purely for the power fantasy and badass feeling you got playing Halo 1 through 3 you can't replicate that in an RTS outside of cutscenes.

They are individual units.
Edit: that use the same upgrades so don't try to have one with SMGs, one with the minigun and one with the spartan laser because its not gonna let you.
