the only prob with rushing is it can be very anti fun the new halo wars its harder to rush
Also, I'm pretty sure you can play cross platform with people on PC. (You can play the game on PC, but it requires Windows 10)
I know a site where you can download all three Battle for Middle Earth games for free, its perfectly safe and what not. Add me if you're interested, not sure what steams rules are regarding posting links to sites. I still use my disks, but know countless people that play using this version.
If you're interested and want to give it a go, I'd suggest giving some mods a look, i.e Edain.
Update to this, you cant play on PC if you buy a physical copy. Play Anywhere is only supported on the digital download.
