How to defeat a Scrab?!

I'm assuming you're on the campaign mission with the immobile Scarab - spam Gauss Warthogs with plenty of supplies to boot. Hogs are cheap, can be mass produced and can outrun the Scarab's main cannon. As for multi, Banshees, Hornets and Cobras are effective.

I personally upgrade the MAC cannon to have multiple shots and spam it all on the Scarab, this is an ability belonging to Captain Cutter. I also spam tanks and Marine's abilities of rockets or grenades on the Scarab as well.

he pretty much turned all the tanks and marines itno scrap abd corpses before they can do any damage what so ever

I garrisoned one of those floating turrets and it just kept shooting that letting my tanks finish it off

The way I did it, which made it 10x easier, is use gauss hogs to actually deal the damage. Keep your scorpions you start with at base to protect it. Destroy all of the generator things with the hogs, then go for the scarab. I keep two teams of hogs on each side, then move them to the other side when needed, eventually youll take it out. Send as many as you can, I moved my warthogs to the right side then to the scarab so they wouldn't get detected.

If you read the in game tips, it plainly says it's rock paper scissors. Vehicles beat infantry. Air beats vehicles. Infantry beats air.
So against Scarab use Air.

Thing is, the Scarab is an "ultimate" Unit basically effective against everything. If you try using the USMC "ultimate", a ship with multiple heavy guns and a rocket barrage, the scarab will still wreck it. But it should actually be able to take it out or? At least by your comment.

The only "solid" way against a scarab is cheap units and spamming. He shoots "slow" but deals enorm damage. So keep the units fast so he needs to aim a lot, use the special abilites (cryo bomb etc.) to stop or deal high damage. But don't simply "spam air units" that's a waste of ressources

if you let the enemy build a scarab than that's your problem, really vultures are the only way to counter a scarab

Scarabs have the bonus attack against air, however mega barage vultures can easily rape a scarab in large numbers. If you have 4 or more vultures with mega and you use it on scarab its ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Otherwise micro your units to make the scarab turn around and attack the target its aiming at. If your using infantry, try to get right in the scarabs face, scarabs cant always hit a infantry unit that is right in front of it. Best example being the honor guards, who can force a scarab out of position if it gets right in front of its cannon (This is providided the scarab isnt shooting at another target anyways)
