Game Crashes at start
]When I push "play" button, a black window appears and then... halo wars died

I don't have the gamedata file, my drivers are up to date, there is not problem with my antivirus or things like that, I tried with the beta branch and compatibility but nothing...

Any solution? :steamsad:

Library > Right click Halo Wars DE > properties > Local Files > Left Click Verify Integrety of Game Files

There can be few reasons for this. 1. Gamedata is missing the the %appdata%/local/Halowars Folder. 2. Your system doesn't meet the minimum required specs/ DirectX11. 3. There's just an error in your files somewhere

Search Dxdiag in your windows search bar and run the program. Should have a blue circle with a yellow cross. Save all the information and paste it here

I don't have any file in Halo Wars folder, it's empty

I don't think my system doesn't meet the minimum, I can play R6, Overwatch, Diablo 3, Bioshock Remastered (for example) I don't think Halo Wars need more than that

And an error... I just can't find any solution or some article about the problem and I'm not the only one :/

Besides the fact your system runs an amd apu and doesn't really meat minimum speck for anything DirectX is not the issue here

Well... in that case I will wait for the graphic card for my PC, I thought the laptop could run this game, thanks btw

This is a crash in your graphics driver. However, the GPU itself should be capable of playing the game on lower settings.

the F.45 BIOS Update fixed the problem, I can play in medium specs without any problem

Bios update. That shouldn't of played any role since that only effects core systems like turbo boost and overcloking. What is the F.45 update for and how did you update it?

well I have an AMD A10 8700p Carrizo, this processor have a lot of problems with compatibility (most of all) so HP upload the F.45 BIOS Update to fix all the problems for now, including the problem with Windows Creators Update... you can download it at HP Assistant or HP web page.
