Skulls
Can skulls only be obtained in singleplayer mode? I played the entire campaign through with a friend and didn't get any, despite completing the objectives to get them. I looked online and couldn't find any information about whether skulls can be unlocked in co-op or not. Does anyone know?

They can be unlocked in co-op. Did you pick the skulls up, after completing the objectives?

i dont think they can appear on easy difficulty. my boyfriend and i played the first 3 missions on normal and they showed up

They appear on all difficulties, you need to complete the side objective kill X of Y, eg, in mission 1 it's kill 100 grunts, an objective marker will flash on your map showing you where the skull appears once this objective is complete, you then have to send a unit to go pick it up

They appear on all difficulties, they are just much harder to show up. Killing 100 Grunts in first mission on easy is hardly doable.

I did it on easy, you just have to leave the first group of marines behind and rush your 'hogs in so the AI doesn't steal your kills, then you have to bait the patrols walking about alpha base to the gate without heading too far into the base triggering the bombing run.

That's what i wasn't doing.... lol thanks my dude!!!

Or you just play the first mission on heroic or legendary. Game spawns arounr 112 grunts on legendary making it really easy to get that skull. Just gotta bait the short swords in with a hog and run back out. PS. it will only hit 1 wraith and will not kill, leaves it on very little health
