Ill agree with what's been said that the keyboard controls aren't perfect but I would argue they are slightly supirior to using a controller (or at least more flexible) i very much like being able to move my camera and cursor seperatly. That alone probably doesn't give you too much of an edge but I can see how in general using kbm would result in over all faster unit selection and deployment around the battle feild.
From what I reading in this thread and others though, the majority seem to feel the KB+Mouse controls aren't implemented very well. I read that ALT+Mousewheel button is required for example for screen scrolling, and that alone is a turn off for me.
