You start the mission, go through the whole intro, 2secs into the game ''We lost contact'' and the mission fails. Anyone got a fix for that?
Its honestly dumb asf. Idk what kind of idiot let that slip into the game, that's literally game breaking.
I haven't encountered this bug myself. Instead I've had minor issues with the game's pathmaking AI (controlling where units go and how they get there).
Lets be honest for a real second.
If this bugged out for you, your using a trainer/cheat engine to either max population or resources, no problem or judgement, i do it too, it's a singleplayer mission and it's fun to go full mayhem on it.
But there is a problem you face.
Starting the mission gives you 12 units already, -you need these to win-
If you active a cheat to give you unlimited population, you basically tell the game they don't exist anymore or that they died, when you NEED them to LIVE.
So turn off that cheat. It's annoying for this one i know, but you NEED those people alive.
(If your gonna lie and say this isn't the case, I'm sorry but that's all i can do, cheaters gotta be honest here)
