What's dead? Allods (Subscription) always had a small but dedicated community on both factions. Russian servers might be much more populated, but that's also where the game originated so ofc it would.

I always liked Allods, not that I get it completely LOL - but always found it fun and enjoyed the graphics even after all this time. Maybe I'll reinstall and start anew. Something to do.

Because the reviews now supports the claims and I don't have to tell them the reason behind "Mixed" reviews every single time

It's technically not hiding. The game originally started with the free server only, then years later the paid server was introduced because the devs were willing to listen for people who kept saying P2W is not good.

I'd say it's worth giving it a shot. one month subscription is pretty cheap.

Depends on what you're looking for

Both free servers and P2P provide the same questing experience if you're here for quests and the story.

Gameplay wise, P2P is pure skill and gear based, while the free servers are for the P2W whales.

You need to buy crystals first, so check the subscription page for the subscription you want to buy. See how much it costs in crystals, then buy crystals.

It's a dumb way, I know. One of the weakest parts of Allods web page.

That's weird, because I do play on Windows 11 and it launches normally. I'd suggest to run the game as administrator. If that didn't work, uninstall and Install again.
