I will try to break down the runes for you patronage 5 is aother story:
A Lv. 2 Rune is 55 chips and 30,000 gold dust which is 77,000g at the current rato +270 gold for the gold dust. To make one Lv. 3 rune you need two Lv. 2 runes so that's going to cost you 144,000g + 60,000 gold dust plus an additional 540 gold. There are 6 rune slots that need to be full with Lv. 5 runes for you to be viable for endgame pve.
For you to go from 6 Lv. 1 Runes to Lv. 5 Runes you're going to need 126,000,000 gold dust, 4,494 crystal chips and 7,425,643 gold.
To ge Lv. 5 Patronage you need 10,000 Holy Symbols that can only be gotten from Holy Boxes that are in the boutique shop each Holy Box gives you 10-50 Symbols each box is 35 blue crystals so one box is 49,000 gold.
I'm not entirely convinced patronage 5 is mandatory for PvE unless you're looking for competitive raids - come to think of it, I've not even used a patronage ability since the rework and am happily pushing towards legendary sector GS (76000 range). Level 5-6 runes themselves provide decent comfort up to casual+ level and don't really cost all that much. If you're not looking to be top dog in PvE, it's a decent mark to aim for over time, though if you'd rather not take that approach, you should consider the P2P server seeing as all F2P concerns are nullified there and everyone has equal balance/potential.

Ropey
