gPotato era players must first request a transfer in order to re-activate the character and play them in the MyCom era.
You can read more on this process via our support page, here:
http://support.my.com/games/kbPage/54/
Please provide your gPotato ID, name/class/level of the characters created under this account, name of the guild(s) you're a member of, last login time to the game. Add screenshots, if possible.
I can provide my gPotato ID but all that other info I will most likely not be able to provide. Should I even bother with it? There is no way I can remember the names/class/levels of any or all the characters I made 6-7 years ago. I have the gPotato email from when I signed up. Would that be of any use?
I would suggest creating a support ticket and supplying the gPotato ID & Email to them. So long as there is sufficient proof that you own(ed) the account that contains your characters, said characters can be restored and transferred.
Regards,
Ropey
That is unfortunate, though if you can think of the email you used to login during that period, it should hopefully be enough to pin-point the characters.
When dealing with transfer issues like this, you can opt to supply any and all emails you suspect are tied to your character(s) of old. Support should be able to find them from there. After that, it is simply a matter of proving you are indeed the owner/creator - which can be hard when information is lost in time. If, for example, you had old screenshot, youtube videos or content like that showing you playing the game, such evidence can also help.
Worst case scenario, you could start over seeing as there have been many expansions and changes since those days. You might find it quite fun to re-experience Allods in a different light.

Ropey
