Allods Online: F2P vs. P2P

Before diving into the wonderful world of Allods Online, it's important to know the pro's and con's of the available servers and the environments they present. In this thread, we'll be breaking down the basics of F2P (New Frontier) and P2P (Smuggler's Paradise) servers, so you'll know which one suits your needs.

It is important to note that players on both servers have a chance of winning in-game prizes, currency, and even subscription time by taking part in community events (held regularly), so keep your eyes peeled on our social media, forums and news-feed for these opportunities.

► Smuggler's Paradise (P2P)

Characters created on Smuggler's Paradise have equal opportunity and potential – a balanced environment where quality of life is improved by questing & raiding rather than the boutique (which is entirely disabled on P2P). In addition, players level up much faster than they would on F2P, ensuring you get to the meat of the game with minimal delay.

Bear in mind that characters & goods cannot be transfered from the F2P to the P2P server, given they would conflict with its balanced nature.

Smuggler's Paradise is the perfect way to enjoy a totally balanced Allods environment where success boils down to skill & co-operation, improving your character through in-game means alone.

► New Frontier (F2P)

New Frontier is open for you to login and play entirely for free whenever you please. However, unlike the subscription server, the boutique is wide open for all to peruse and enjoy, from mounts and costumes, to equipment enchanting tools and other goodies.

The majority of items from the boutique are not bound on purchase, meaning they can be traded between players or via the auction house. You can also utilize the in-game currency exchange to convert gold into crystals if you so choose.

Whilst players who pay for conveniences may have an edge over those who don't, you can still obtain said conveniences via in-game gold, trading, competitions and events, currency exchange or other means. Given most of these alternative methods are mostly player driven, the ease of said methods are entirely variable.

New Frontier is the perfect way to get a free taste for Allods and see if it's the game for you, or to compete with fellow enthusiasts who go the extra mile to succeed in their chosen field of expertise.
