Visual Bug after the Golden Alpaca fight

experienced a bug where the text boxes after the fight had their last few letters replaced with a pink rectangle. in the scene with the robot girl it made the whole line pink, it looked like it was censored or something. it persisted for several scenes and eventually went away when i went to the mind dungeon. anyone know what caused this?

it seems like the new cutscene system for the alpaca scene has a chance to randomly bug out when the scene is finished. it doesnt seem to happen anywhere else in the game

i had some problems with my PC and this game bc I have a JP pc. that might be the case with yours, or at least the motherboard may be Japanese.
All I remember is the game had huge issues with regional / system lamnguage and date/time settings.
