Giving the heart to the lady.

Is there some kind of reward or secret for not giving the lady in the mind dungeon, or is it purely just a weird story reason for us to give it to her? I know giving it to her allows you to get the other karta things but i'm kinda curious if there is any reason to not give it to her

I gave it to her too on my first playthrough, i think you arent meant to give it.

Something I noticed in my second play through, is that the Mind Dungeon is actually slightly different before giving her your heart. The one change I noticed before giving it in the 2nd playthrough is that there is an open cave in the lower areas that becomes locked off after you give her your heart that hides a "Gift" inside you need Dali to grab.

So there might be some secrets in the mind dungeon tied to not giving her your heart.

But considering you can give the heart as a 'gift' doesn't that render it redundant? Or maybe it's just something in place so that you don't lose out on getting a key whether you gave her the heart or not.

I also gave the heart to her curious playing again in NG+ if I should keep it maybe it turns i to a stronger Karta later?

Actually, that's the other thing that I can confirm, the "Gifts" don't exist until you give her your heart, so the only way to open any of the foils is to give her your heart first, then you can collect gifts.

after playing through the whole game (NG+ as well) i don't think it makes any changes whether you give her the heart or not apart from the other gifts not spawning in until you do, and tbh I don't think it made the game anymore challenging made it feel a little easier since i have fewer karta to upgrade
