But gameplay wise I don't think I have seen any differences other then being able to raise and lower the camera angle as a pose to just rotate it like the 3DS version. The UI is obviously a bit changed due to the fact that they couldn't hide a fair chunk of the UI on the bottom screen like they did on 3DS, but the UI is fine on the same screen.
Looks better and has a bit better camera control, other then that doesn't look like any noticable changes. Though I do have yet to go find my Nvidia 3Dvision to see how the game looks in 3D on PC, Ill maybe do that after lunch I know where the cube is not sure where the glasses are.
Edit: Found my Nvidia 3DVision and played for a few minutes with it on, it looks great and still stays at a solid framerate. While obviously I don't use the 3D that often on my computer seeing as I wasn't sure where the stuff was despite having it for about 3 years now it does actually look good.
Judging by your answer; it sounds more like a port of the Vita version than the 3DS, which is probably just as well.
Thanks for the info, I would've guess that it would be graphically superior, but if it's not different gameplaywise, I don't think I'll buy it a second time. However I would reccomend buying it to anyone who hasn't played it yet and likes JRPGs. The game is pretty fun with a wierd but equally fun concept(ion).
There have been some bad PC ports where for some reason the publisher/dev choose to use the low resolution from handhelds rather then using the master graphics, so while you would think it would look better there have been some ports recently that look better on handheld because on PC its using the same crappy resolution blown up onto a larger screen making it look worse.
Making the 3d part of the game run at a higher resolution is easy, but doesn't really change the graphics, it just makes the edges less jaggy.
This. Gives me a reason to replay it since I can't stand otaku games like this is a dub
I'll be honest - the english voices aren't entirely horrible in this game. They're fairly varied and don't always sound like some mid 30's woman trying to sound 16.
Of course JP superior always but... they're alright.
I'm using Japanese voices in the 3DS version too. I bought the game and then when I realized there is no option to change to Japanese voices, I went and got the undub too. I don't know about the quality of the English voices, I haven't really played with them. I like undubs because I can understand spoken Japanese, but can't read kanji.
