Does anybody know how to get a controller to work with this game? Im not a fan of keyboards with gaming.

I tried disabling steam input but I can't get my xbone controller or my steam deck controller to work, it's pretty annoying.

The game has no sound, The only guides I seen for fixing it is _Commonredist which my games files don't have. I also looked up how to fix steam games with no sound but all suggestions haven't helped.
