"isn't much use"? what do you mean by that? And it isn't copying JK Rowling, she retcons her characters for wokeness points, these lore tidbits don't do that, they're just nice short paragraphs to help fill out some of the characters. I doubt they're using that many resources on these lore bits, probably just 1 or 2 employees working on these in their spare time.
