[bug] Game doesn't launch/load

Hello,

I'm using an asus K53sv laptop with windows 10.
Windows 10 is up to date and my videocard driver too (nvidia GT 540M).

Kingdom Rush Frontier doesn't launch, i can"t even see the window where you chose your options.

On the other hand, Kingdom Rush does launch and work without any issue.
Already tried uninstall and downloading the game two times, nothing changed.

Hi!

The first thing I would try is making sure Steam is up to date by restarting it, or even restarting Windows.

Please, go to the game properties in Steam (right click over the Kingdom Rush Frontiers item in the games list) and add the following parameter to the launch options:
--console

Now start the game and a second black window should open (console).
Please send me a screenshot of any text that appears in that console, if any.

The next step is to test Love 0.10.1 32-bit from https://love2d.org/ (https://bitbucket.org/rude/love/downloads/love-0.10.1-win32.zip), unzip it and run the love.exe file.

The Russian guy is having the same problem - looks like it is tied to language pack. Can you swap everything to English? :O

If love.exe is not launching it's probably an OpenGL driver issue.
Let us think about it for a bit and we'll get back to you.

In the meantime, I would ask you to try running the love.exe you just downloaded as Admin by right clicking on it and selectng the "Run as administrator" option.

@Honorable_D, it's not really the same problem since he said "Black screen with finger cursor. On any resolutions.". I do not have a black screen and i can"t even pick a resolution.
Nevertheless, i switch both windows10 and steam to english, nothing changed.

Tried, same thing as the screen posted happened.

So, i tried running KRF with windows 8 compatibility, didn't work (same white screen). Nothing showrd on console.
Tried running with windows 7 compatibility, was able to play for 2-3mins then the game crashed. Got something on console : http://imgur.com/a/LKPKV

Thanks for the update. Those warnings are unrelated to the problem.

Do you have an anti-virus running?
Does love.exe run in Win 7 compatibility mode? Does it crash as well after a while?

It doesn't seem game related but more a problem with the windows installation (dlls) or drivers, but we'll keep looking.
We really want to help you solve the issue!

I have avast as anti-virus.
love.exe works for 25mins+ in win7 compatibility mode without any issues (avast was on).
Tried launching KRF in win 7 compatibility mode with avast off, was able to complete 2 levels without any issues.

ОП у тебя имя первой учетной записи в Шиндоус на русском языке? Хочу подтвердить догадку. Заметил что на английской винде все работает. В русской игра не может попасть к своим файлам настроек в C:\Users\Администратор\AppData

That's great news! So is this OK? Can you play the game?

Well i kept on playing a bit. Managed to complete 2 more levels without issues but game crashed during the third (avast was off).

No more ideas ? Game is just randomly crashing now (with avast off).
Can't progress anymore at all.
