are all heroes free?

i don't own the steam version of this game, i have seen that a lot of people have heroes that usually aren't free, and i want to know if they really are.
if all the heroes are free i may buy the game.

Yes, all heroes are free. But you don't get them all right at the start; they are all unlocked through campaign progression.

Please note that not all of the heroes(and campaigns, for that matter) have been added to the game yet. They will be added at the end of each consecutive month. You can see the update schedule in the announcement section of this board.

The developers have kept their word on promised free updates for both KR and KR:F on Steam so far, so that should probably not negatively affect your purchasing decision.

thanks a lot! for 10€ i can buy a version of kingdom rush frontiers with all the heroes for free, that means that i don't have to spend 30/40€ to play them all!

Not to mention you get to use mouse & keyboard on a far bigger screen without having to be tethered to a power outlet with it. :-D Enjoy!
