Blacksurges are so Overpowered.
Silences towers. Sure, I'll use Firestorm and then they use burrow ability when just about to die. I'll get him when he re-surfaces.

Procedes to rejenerates to 90% HP with Mage towers disabled.

What the hell kinda of Shenanigans is this.

Five days late, but they are pretty darn OP. One thing I've found though is that if you're on one of the maps where the blacksurges have to swim, you can use reinforcements right at the edge of the water to stop them while the towers take their health down, and when they burrow, they only burrow to the water's edge before swimming, so they don't regen all of their health. While they're swimming to the next area towers can usually pick 'em off.

And for the ones on paths where they don't swim, I've found that the mechas work pretty well against them, because they aren't affected by the tower silence. That and the fact that blacksurges don't seem to burrow when they're blocked right by the exit, (probably because you'd always lose if they did) so if you can manage that and have a mecha close by, it'll take 'em out.

I eventually found that they won't burrow when being blocked by soldiers. It was their burrowing that was really messing with me, now that I know that it's alot easier to deal with them.

teleporters, stealthers, burrowers, can't do it when at a certain distance from the goal line, so with maps that have them put a lot of blockers and firepower close to the goal

But don't Blacksurges have high Physical resistance? So they won't do much damage. I suppose you can use the axe throwers to silence but I've always seen the tower get silenced first because of units infront of the Blacksurge take prioity. The Crossbow tower's range increase is quite good if position well.

Battle Mecha, Assassins' Sneak Attack, DWAARP's Core Drill, Cronan's Deep Lashes, Kahz's Daedalus Maze, Sha'tra's Abduction, and Dante himself are all good counters.

I have only managed to kill them in one of two situations:

1. They're still in the water and get nuked down there, they can't go into their shell when in water.

2. Drop meteor on them near the exit.

I've just never been able to kill them any other way. It's ridiculous, if they get on land, they get a free walk to your exit.

I found that blocking them with soldiers helped. However I only noticed it on Sunken Citadel where they are already close to the exit so I'm not sure if it's effective.

when the towers can atack again use the metiorite and is free kill, the dills also oneshot him.
