Cursor is Missing

After I select the resolution, the screen turns black except for the hand cursor. Then the splash screen shows and the pointer disappears, which is common in many games. When the screen changes to the game main screen, the cursor should re-appear, but it does not. There is no visible pointer. I can move the mouse around and select the different options, but I can't see what I'm doing. It is impossible to play this way. How can this be fixed?

Try playing in windowed mode. If that doesn't work, try playing in a resolution lower than 1920x1080.

I have the same problem. Window mode also works. The thing is I am recording my games. My screen resolution is 4k. So this slow down the recording

I upgraded my TV from a 40" Insignia to a 50" Toshiba 4K smart TV with FireTV included.
I am using a VGA to HDMI adapter cable.
I immediately started experiencing the mouse issue after changing the monitor.
Even in windowed mode, 1920x1080 loses mouse.
Yes I can play in windowed mode at reduced resolution,
but that defeats the purpose of the larger screen.
Please fix this. It has been documented for some time.
It affects KR, KRF and KRV in my Steam library.
I understand it may be a Windows issue,
but still I have been playing for years and not had this problem until now.
My computer is a Dell with 4790 CPU, integrated HD4600 GPU - VGA output,
16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD. These are my favorite games I still play almost daily.
