I was surprised to hear that phrase in the trailer - have you or Steve Jackson Games been in contact at all?
Would love something official, and like another post mentioned, car combat games have seemed to dropped by the wayside. I suspect the prevalence of alternative transportation, Uber, ZipCar, electric deathtrap hoverboards and Segways even, have diluted the car ownership enthusiasm of the 80's+. Perhaps a personal transportation mini-game concept can be added as DLC...
I heard a rumor that SJG had some serious beef with anyone trying to computerize Car Wars. and that Auto Assault, an early MMORPG that I really enjoyed while it was alive, took a huge brunt of the SJG beef.
Another car combat game to try is Wasteland Angel, a kind of isometric view like Diablo meets car combat, similar in some ways to the top down view of AutoDuel, but much more arcade-y.
Necrothread revived via https://gaming.tobii.com/games/autoage/ -- i just installed an update for my tobii setup that came with this laptop.
