Blasterbug: Last Bug Standing!

Cannot play with more than 4 players

I have a total of seven xbox and 8bitdo controllers connected to my Steam Deck but only 4 players can join. I tried with and without Steam Input enabled. The description mentions 8 players local: how can I play with more than 4 players? Thanks.

Singleplayer gaming?

Am I just being silly here? I want to play by myself against some CPU guys but it keeps adding 1P and 2P when I reach the character select screen? Both players are controlled by myself at the same time.

Draws can occur in Crown Battles if the winner blows up at the last possible second

Which is FUNNY, but probably not very productive considering the rules of the mode Ver. is 1.0.0.3 expected results is the crown holder still winning after their timer hits 0 even if they blow up in the spotlight, probably actual behavior is that a Draw occurs which just wastes a lot of time i think hopefully that's enough information...

Online play question

I played the game for a bit and it seems incredibly well made and fun! Feels like it has a ton of potential to spread, as it fills a void in the market for a game of this genre with this level of production. Are there any plans to include online play that doesn't rely on steam remote play together?...
