making medicine puzzle

Hello. I'm stuck at puzzle where you need to prepare medicine from three liquid (red, blue, green). I need to get 3,6,7 unit of each by using two test-tubes (9 and 4 unit). Just dont want to skip this. Any tips how to get i.e. 3 out of 9 and 4?
