How do I reset orientation?

The orientation is set by your SteamVR settings. Try setting up your room again and see if that solves your issue. Let us know if that doesn't work.

I see there is a reset orientation option when you open SteamVR settings when opening the big picture menu in game, that worked for me.

When you setup steamvr or whatever, when you point at your monitor. It is different because other games launch in the direction on where you open steamvr with the controller.. I assume.
