Scan mode bugged?

Pressing 'g' flickers the alternate scan mode for a fraction of a second.
This is after going into game, returning to main menu, then going back into game.

Pretty damn obvious bug =/

That's why I assumed the game was rushed (it sure felt like it with such blank maps) and there must have been no paid beta testers. There's no way this should have made it into release. Many other players and I brought up this scan issue months ago and have gotten no response from the devs...

Hi... what platform & spec are you running on? This bug was thought fixed with the previous patch (and I'm not aware we'd had any more reports of it since).

Same thing happend to me after I had played a short while and started a new game.
I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work properly.

Just played through the game. I've been facing this bug pretty often. I think 5 or 7 times. Had to save and quit to menu, then load.
Not sure but I think it happens when You die with enabled scan mode.
Win 10, 4770K, 16Gb, 1080Ti.

i like using this game as a warm up for FPS multiplayers too :'( its impossible to progress without

Same here, sometime work sometime not.
Win 10, 32 GB Ram, Intel i7-6700K 4.GHz, Radeon R9 390
I had to quit and reload the game from start.

have this problem
playing 1st round is ok
then save quit to menu
load game
then this problem happened

btw, dev can u plz provide simple save without the quit?

Same here. Exiting the game and starting it again fixed it. Wondering if I should just uninstall it at this point.

The bug happened to me also after playing for a while. I hope this bug gets sorted out seeing that this discussion is more than a few months old by now.
