game won't detect my controller

i have an xbox controller but the game won't detect it. what's going on

Can't get mine working either, and even the x360ce fix doesn't work :/

yeah, it's sadly broken and it never got fixed,

this controller issue has something to do with steam settings overriding the game settings or something like that. the solution to all these capcom games not recognizing the controller is to open big picture mode while ingame, go to the controller settings, and select "Force Off" then restart the game.

Unfortunately this still doesn't fix it for me

I managed to make my Xbox one controller to work with the help of x360ce even wirelesly following this guide step by step https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1915205331

At first it didn't work, but then I tried launching x360ce in admin mode and that did the trick.
