Infinite loading screen after mission 7-4 fix

Just wanted to make a post to help anyone out since I was getting angry over this issue myself but thankfully was able to fix it.

After 7-4 with all the zombies busting into the safehouse, I'd do the mission but after I closed the door, my game would be stuck at a loading screen. I searched on google and found a thread from 2011 addressing my exact issue and how to fix it

"Go to ..\Documents\My Games\Dead Rising 2 Off The Record and look for rendersettings.ini. Make a backup copy then change this line:

UseMultiCore = true

to

UseMultiCore = false

And I followed his directions but my config file was already set to false ( falseUseMultiCore ) so I got a little worried but I decided to change it to true ( trueUseMultiCore ), saved the file, booted up the game, beat the mission and everything works perfectly now. I'm not going to bother changing it back to false because I dont know why it would be in the first place

This is very late but none of the files I looked through were the file suggested above and the link led no where. The fix i found was simply in game changing the resolution from 144 hz to 60 hz. I hope this helps someone.
