Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine

So I Made a Guide...
Just for fun, I made a guide for the game. Storywise, I've tried to make it fairly spoiler free, but of course even the names of some items contain at least minor spoilers (though I left off one part of the name of the biggest spoiler). It's not a linear walkthrough, since like the funnest Survival Horror games Camp Sunshine is not a linear game, but the guide has item location lists, maps with items and locations marked, puzzle solutions, stuff like that. Basically if you were frustrated enough that you just wanted a direct answer, you could scroll down the guide and find what you needed. I don't think anybody should need it very much, as FossilGames has been very good at making the game accessible (Kudos, guys!) and not cryptic, but it was just fun to put together, and to draw the maps of the areas that didn't already have in-game maps. I recommend that players explore the game on their own the first time through as much as possible, or just ask for hints here, but if anyone's interested in taking a look at the guide just for kicks, it's here:

and on GameFAQs:

I hope the good folks at FossilGames won't find this an imposition. As an aspiring game designer myself (currently working on a game with a similar "slasher" premise that I've had in mind for years; talked about it a little bit on one of the FossilGames guy's threads over in reddit before Camp Sunshine was released, actually) I tend to feel like if peope start making guides for my game, it'd be a compliment and a testament to the game's standing side by side with any "official" developer's work; so I hope that's the spirit in which my making one for Camp Sunshine will be received. :)

The Maps section works the best here on Steam, because you can most easily click the images and enlarge them compared to the other sites.

This is a good guide. The map can't be zoomed in, but me and my friend used it during some vids we did. Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback, and it was my pleasure making it! I actually was bothered that the way Wordpress uploads the photos wouldn't let you zoom in. But I think it does end up being a bigger picture if you right click and "Open Image in a New Tab." The original file is plenty big enough, so I'm not sure what happened with the upload.

Wow, thanks, guys! All of you for the kind words, and FossilGames for the generosity! As for the latter, how do I find your e-mail address? Your profile is private. I'm probably overlooking some obvious place.

The guide has now been updated to account for the changes (at least, those I've found) that have been made to the game as of the 1.2 Winter update.

Hi, I've been follow this guide, but I can't enter the West Woods, Jez turns and says it not a good idea to go alone.

HI! I know this reply is three years too late but just wanna say thanks for the guide! I got stuck on the colored bridges puzzle so it really helped to know what the order was exactly to get to the other side of the bridges!
