anyone know how to fix the mouse and controller problem?

so i've been so fortunate to get the game running and begin the campaign, but i can't keep the mouse from moving around while i'm using a contoller. it's like how you would control microsoft edge on the xbox. if i ignore it and play too long it'll kick me to the desktop and have a on screen mousepad pop up and i can only control it with the controller. i've checked all the in-game settings and i can't find anything that'll stop it.

Sorry that this ain't a fix. I got pretty much the same problem. The only thing I've managed to figure out is, that whenever I move the right stick, the game for some reason things I'm moving my mouse, which is weird and annoying since that makes it flip-flop everytime I adjust the camera.
